With day two coming to an end at the PGL Minor, as PixelFire came out on top of a record-breaking quintuple-overtime marathon to advance to semi-finals, we have some of the best photos lined up for your viewing pleasure. Day two in PGL's studio has progressed in a similar way to day one, as everything went according to schedule up until the very last match. PixelFire refused to budge to DenDD while being down 5-15 on the first map, de_mirage. They completed a comeback after more than three hours of play, as the match went to five overtimes and ended at 41-38. DenDD seemed to have ran out of steam afterwards and PixelFire had little to no problems taking the series after a one-sided de_train affair. The first map broke the record of rounds played at a notable offline event, surpassing the 69-round EnVyUs-NiP battle at CCS Kick-off Season Finals, coincidentally played in Bucharest as well. We have put together the best photos from day two for your viewing pleasure: You can find the whole day two gallery here. |
