CEVO has revealed all the details about the placement tournamentsfor its professional CS:GO division. Starting in just a few hours, the CEVO Placement tournament will be held in Europe and in North America to determine the final four teams (two per region) who will compete in the professional division, which will have $125,000 on offer. Sixteen invited teams from both Europe and North America will lock horns in a double-elimination bracket, featuring best-of-three matches in the upper bracket and best-of-one clashes in the lower bracket.
Season 9 comes with crucial changes to the format that will be used in the professional division, which will consist of four 16-team single-elimination brackets to determine the four sides who will represent each region at the season finals, which will be held from April 28 to May 1 at the Gfinity Arena, in London.
